What is Canesten Hydrocortisone Cream?

This is the only over-the-counter treatment available that contains both clotrimazole and hydrocortisone acetate. Clotrimazole, the active ingredient, is anti-fungal to treat fungal skin infections and anti-bacterial to help get rid of co-existing bacteria. Hydrocortisone acetate is a steroid with anti-inflammatory properties that provides immediate relief from itching and inflammation.

Canesten® Hydrocortisone  Cream can be used to treat athlete’s foot and fungal sweat rash (Candidal Intertrigo) when there are additional inflammation symptoms that require immediate relief (like swelling, redness and itching).

How to use it?

Apply the cream to the affected area twice a day, thinly, evenly, and gently.
